Melika is a teacher, counselor, singer/songwriter, and a Soul artist. Melika is passionate about the Singles Ministry and desires to inspire others to live an undivided devoted life for the Lord and to live this life to the fullest!

Tom Wong was born in Vietnam, but called Mississippi home as he was growing up. From a young age, God molded him and prepared him to become a follower of Christ as a student in high school. Tom has been a member of the Singles Ministry at The Memphis Church since 1997, and has served our fellowship in numerous capacities throughout his time here. Tom is grateful to God for allowing him to be a member of the Singles Ministry, and for calling him out of darkness and into His perfectly loving light.

One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”

“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[c] There is no commandment greater than these.”
